About PDF Merger
PDF Merger combines two or more PDF files into a single document with a drag-and-drop interface for reordering pages before merging. Upload your PDFs, arrange them in the order you want, then download the merged file in seconds — no watermarks, no file size restrictions, and no registration required. The merger uses PyMuPDF on the backend to handle complex PDFs including those with embedded fonts, form fields, and mixed page sizes. Files are processed in memory and immediately deleted after the merged PDF is served, so nothing is stored on any server.
Merge Multiple PDFs in Any Order
Upload two or more PDF files and drag the file cards to arrange them in the exact order you want before merging. The numbered order preview updates live as you drag so there are no surprises in the final document.
No Watermarks on Output
The merged PDF is a clean, professional-quality file with absolutely no watermarks, branding, page numbers, or metadata added by DukoTools. The output looks exactly as if you combined the files in Adobe Acrobat.
Handles Complex PDFs
Uses PyMuPDF, the same library used by professional PDF tools, to handle PDFs with embedded fonts, form fields, annotations, mixed page sizes, and password-free encrypted files. Most online mergers break on complex PDFs — this one does not.
Files Deleted After Download
Uploaded PDFs are processed entirely in server memory and immediately deleted after the merged file is served to you. Nothing is written to permanent storage, logged, or retained. Your documents are completely private.
Up to 20 Files Per Merge
Combine up to 20 PDF files in a single merge operation with a combined size of up to 50 MB. This covers the vast majority of real-world use cases including reports, contracts, and document packages.
No Registration Required
Use the merger as many times as you like without creating an account or providing any personal information. The tool is free, no subscription required, and has no daily usage limits.
How to Use
- 1
Upload your PDFs
Drag and drop two or more PDF files onto the upload area, or click the area to browse for files. You can upload up to 20 files at once with a combined size of up to 50 MB.
- 2
Check the file list
Uploaded files appear as a numbered list showing filename and file size. Review the list to make sure all the correct files have been uploaded and there are no duplicates.
- 3
Reorder by dragging
Drag any file card up or down to reorder the PDFs. The merged document will contain the pages in the exact top-to-bottom order shown in the list.
- 4
Click Merge PDFs
Click the Merge PDFs button to send the files to the server for processing. The merge typically completes in 2–10 seconds depending on file sizes and complexity.
- 5
Download the merged file
When merging is complete, a Download button appears. Click it to save the merged PDF to your device. The file is named "merged.pdf" by default.
Real-World Use Cases
Compiling a Portfolio Document
A job applicant needs to submit a single PDF containing their CV, cover letter, portfolio samples, and reference letters as separate documents. They upload all five PDFs, arrange them in the right order (CV first, references last), and merge into one clean file. The hiring manager receives a single professional document instead of five separate attachments.
Creating a Consolidated Invoice Package
A freelancer needs to submit all monthly invoices to their accountant as a single PDF for tax filing. They batch-upload 12 individual invoice PDFs, arrange them chronologically, and merge them into one document. The accountant receives a complete record in a single file instead of a folder of 12 separate PDFs.
Assembling a Property Purchase Pack
A conveyancer needs to assemble a property purchase pack from multiple documents: title deed, survey report, searches, and mortgage offer. Each is a separate PDF from different sources. They use the merger to combine all documents in the legally required order into one single PDF for submission to the land registry.
